Problem

I have tried printing a shipping label and am seeing an error returned:

Error: ZPL/EPL label formats cannot be printed to PDF. Please change label format to RAW in Shipping > Integrations > Printer

OR

Error in PrintShippingLabels. Inner step: Merge files and return merged file path. Files:2, Error: An invalid request URI was provided. The request URI must either be an absolute URI or BaseAddress must be set.

Solution

This error appears when you attempt to print the shipping label as PDF from the Open Orders screen, but the label format has been specified as ZPL/EPL, which are the formats that can be only printed via Virtual Printer.

You will need to go to Linnworks.net > Shipping > Integrations > Printer config and change the format to PDF or RAW to print the shipping label as PDF:
