Problem
When printing a stock item label from Linnworks, the text is printed out successfully, however when the same label is then scanned into a different software, then "+" signs get added between text and characters get converted to uppercase.
Cause
This occurs due to the fact that the scanner that is used to scan the printed label is not configured to scan in full ASCII character set, which results in it interpreting the 3of9 Barcode font incorrectly.
Solution
In order for the scanner to scan the 3of9 barcodes correctly, the full ASCII character set needs to be enabled. The following article explains how to enable this option on most handheld scanners
